Course overview

​

The Advanced Medspa Technician course is a two-week class and builds on the MedSpa Technician course (prerequisite).

​

What students learn

​

  • Velashape III advanced — Body lifts, Brazilian butt lifts, and neck and arm tightening

  • Advanced microneelding techniques and modalities focusing on atrophic (raised) body scars

  • Peel and microneedling combo services

  • PRP facial, hair restoration, facelift, breastlift, and injections

  • Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh training in both upper and lower eyelid lifts, lip flip, face lifts, and neck lifts

During the course, students get hand-on experience by performing treatments on each other. We are the only school in the country that provides an internship program for students after they complete the two-week course.

Internship

​

During their internship, students:

​

  • Perform treatments on actual clients and get as much experience on the equipment as they desire until they are comfortable to go out into the field.
     

  • Gain experience bringing in their own clients, just like they would in a medspa, dermatologists office, plastic surgeons office, or on their own.

Course
Options

  • Day course: One, two-week day course once per month from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mon thru Thu.
     

  • Evening course: One, two-week evening course once per month from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Mon thru Thu.
     

  • The internship is completed as you are able to fit into your schedule.
